Notes from members of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Farmingville, NY, August 2015
Pastor Kathy
Thanks for being you. There isn’t enough paper to write how grateful we are for all the things you taught us, getting involved in new things. We have grown so much with you as our Pastor. We will never forget and you will still be in our lives as friends forever.
With love,
Your congregation
Dear Pastor,
Thank you so much for all you have done for our congregation and Church. We will miss your inspiring sermons and boundless efforts to move all of us in our faith journey. We will all miss John as your number 1 supporter and his funny banter each week. We wish you all the best in whatever the Lord has in store for you next. So, till we see you both again for whatever the occasion, May the Lord be with you till we meet again!
With love and God’s blessings,
Steve, Peg and family

I hope we will always keep in touch.
We love yu guys,
Bette and Paul Mitchell

Dear Pastor Kathy and John,
Wish bot of you all the best on the next leg of your journey.
This feels so weird, with you leaving like this. Can’t really articulate why. Even though you and I had an often-adversarial relationship, I can’t say that it diminished for me any of the work you did for us in pushing us forward. I am grateful for many of the things you made happen.
I keep thinking of that poem, which I call “The Reason/Season Poem.” I imagine you are familiar with it.You have definitely been with us for a Reason and a Season. Will it also be a lifetime? We will see……Love and best wishes,
Mickie and Bill Tinkler
Dear Pastor Kathy,
Thank you for touching our hearts in more ways than you know. We love you and will miss you!
